My wife Ryalene and I wish you all a blessed Christmas and a happy new year.
For some of us this has been a long and traumatic year as we come to terms with the loss of our loved ones. It’s understandable then if we find ourselves not feeling like celebrating this Christmas. The Lord promises to be with us no matter what our emotional or physical state. In Matthew 28:20 Jesus says: “Remember, I am with you always …”
The Bible also encourages us to cast our cares and burdens unto Him because He cares for us. (Psalm 55:22 and 1Peter 5:7). May you come to find and experience the love and compassion of the Christ Child, Emmanuel this Christmas.
For others this may be an exciting year simply because of the things that have taken place, such as the birth of a child, a wedding, etc. For you too Jesus says in John 10:10, “I have come that you may have life and have it in all it’s fullness.”
Wherever you may be and whatever you may be going through may the Christchild of Mary and Joseph bless, sustain and keep as He discloses Himself to you this Christmas.
Yours in Christ.
Ivan
